King’s College
It took its name from its founder, King George IV. Established in 1829, it is considered one of the best universities in England. It is certainly one of the best places in London to study business. The London School of Economics is located on Houghton Street, and its doors opened to students back in 1895. According to the university, it has trained dozens of millionaires, and over 40 prime ministers. Presidents have studied at LSE as well.

City, University of London
The University was founded in the late 19th century as Northampton Institute. Its current name has been with it for over fifty years, since 1966 to be precise. A huge number of business students have studied here. There are over 17,000 students! Importantly, CUL has a students’ union, students’ media. Hence students can get involved in projects other than business. Definitely a great choice for business studies!

Brunel University
The University was founded over 50 years ago, in 1966, and is located in the London Borough of Uxbridge. There are almost 15,000 students there, that’s an impressive number! Students’ life is thriving – there’s Radio Brunel (online only), as well as Le Nurb, the university’s official newspaper. If you like Top Gear then you must know that it was Brunel that Jeremy Clarkson, among others, graduated from!

SOAS
SOAS stands for School of Oriental and African Studies. It is located near Russell Square and it offers a wide variety of departments. Still, all the subject matter is centred around the countries of Africa and the Orient. Approximately half out of 5,500 students come from outside the UK. SOAS also has its own campus where students live. Students’ life takes place there too, including societies and hanging out together.

University of Westminster
Located in the heart of London, the university gives an easy access to every corner of the city. Founded in 1838, it has only been using its current name since 1992. In addition to the main campus on Regent Street, there are several additional campuses which can be found in the Marylebone, Fitzrovia and Harrow districts. There are 7 faculties in total, and in each of the business schools, education is provided at the highest level.

University of Roehampton
Roehampton University, located in the south west of the city has been in existence since 1841. It currently has 8,500 students! The infrastructure is designed to meet students’ highest expectations, including excellent football pitches, sports halls, a fitness centre and a huge library (with 350,000 books!). There are 10 faculties in total, including the most important one for us, the Roehampton University Business School.

Kingston University
One of the best places to study business is certainly the one located in Kingston upon the Thames. This public university was originally founded in 1899. There are approximately 20,000 students at the university. The Faculty of Law and Business is one of the three main faculties of the university and currently has around 5,000 students. Henry Bond and Glenda Bailey, among others, have studied here.

Queen Mary London
Queen Mary is one of the best universities to study business. It is part of the University of London and its history goes all the way back to the 18th century! Interestingly, between 1964 and 1982 it housed a large nuclear reactor, which at the time raised some pretty serious safety concerns. Today it is one of the best schools in the country and has ‘produced’ many famous graduates, including scientists and people of the arts.
