Twickers

London is a city with a variety of interesting attractions, which are definitely worth visiting. Among other most common tourist attractions you may encounter museums, galleries, churches, cathedrals and many, many more. London is also the hub of entertainment. Here you will find the biggest clubs, the best pubs and restaurants with a variety of cuisines. You are highly welcomed in every place here. Additionally you can jump in to see some of the stadiums. Most of them hosted many important social meetings. Did you know that here in London you will find one of the biggest stadiums in Europe ?  Moreover, the Twickenham Stadium is the third largest in Europe and the second largest in the whole UK. Twickers – it is a common name for the Twickenham Stadium. It is mainly home to a rugby union but it also hosts home matches of England.

Rugby in London

Some say that rugby is a sport of thugs played by gentlemen. I just couldn’t agree more. Twickers, having smart design and great logistics is the world stage for rugby together with its great views from every angle of the stadium. The events are always put on brilliantly. Whether you are a local supporter of home team, or just a visiting fan it will be a great day out with good banter and no troubles. Not enough? There is also an option for a tour that includes museum admission – explore and enjoy: the 2004 world cup final ball on display, presidential suite, access to the changing rooms, players tunnel and many more. It would be a sin not to mention how professional and helpful the stadium staff is. The seats are as pleasant and comfortable as a stadium can provide. Not only all the entrances are accessible but also the exits are easy to find.

 Rugby World Cup

If you like rugby this is an experience you should not miss. Rugby World Cup is the event that has already taken place three times on The Twickenham Stadium. Moreover, in the near future the American football will be hosted on the stadium as the part of the NFL International Series. As you probably know, the Twickenham Stadium is the place of different events and those events also include concerts. Some stars like Rihanna, Bon Jovi, Iron Maiden, Lady Gaga, The Rolling Stones and many more appeared on the scene of Twickenham Stadium. Strolling through the Stadium you have a chance to enter the World Rugby Union Museum, which tells the history of the sport using interactive display techniques. In the special exhibition you can see some interesting parts of the collection.

All in all,  it is an amazing venue and if you are visiting London don’t miss an opportunity to go and see it for yourself. It would be definitely worthy of reminiscing.
