Whether you’re building a new gaming computer or buying a new toy computer, the first thing you expect is a graphics card. This makes perfect sense because it is the main component of the computer that gives all the horsepower to all the latest games out there. The performance of  these graphics cards has multiplied in recent years. In 2022, we have a lot of graphics cards that allow you to play at 4K and above. So, if you are in the market to buy a new graphics card, you have come to the right place as we have selected some great graphics cards for you to choose from. Well, here are the 10 best playing card graphics cards available for purchase in 2022:

NVIDIA RTX 3090

Our rating

One of the best graphics cards you can buy right now is the RTX 3090 Released last year, it is the latest iteration of NVIDIA’s consumer and gaming GPUs and involves real-time radiation monitoring (hence RTX branding). The GPU is powered by Ampere architecture and NVIDIA claims that it can offer up to 2x the performance. The RTX 3090 is equipped with 24 GB of GDDR6X memory, and depending on the brand you buy, you get different fan styles (and numbers) for efficient cooling.

Specification:

Brand Nvidia
Graphics co-processor NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090
Video output interface DisplayPort

NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti

Our rating

If the RTX 3090 is too expensive for your needs (after all, it’s the most expensive graphics card on this list), you can also consider the NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti. The 3080 Ti is a truly powerful graphics card that will surely allow you to run all your games at the simplest settings. The 3080 Ti is based on the same Ampere architecture as the 3090, but comes with 12GB instead of 24GB of GDDR6X memory. This means that we have reviewed the NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti and found it to be one of the most powerful playing cards. There is also an RTX 3080, with 10GB GDDR6X memory, that you can consider to bring the GPU price to your rig lower.

NVIDIA TITAN RTX

Our rating

To the Ampere time, this was the most powerful graphics card ever made.  TITAN RTX card for prospectuses is not affordable for most people because it has a price tag of more than £3,900. The TITAN RTX is basically a mid-cycle refresher for  TITAN X Pascal, which has a fully enabled GP102 GPU, promising a 10-15% improvement over its predecessor at the same price. While this may sound sweet, keep in mind that the GTX 1080 Ti can be purchased for almost half the price if you’re willing to sacrifice 10% return. This card is definitely not for everyone, but if you still want to own the most powerful graphics card right now, we won’t stop it. Playing 4K at 60 frames per second is an absolute breeze, as it can comfortably reach 80-90 frames per second in most games today.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

Our rating

This graphics card is primarily for QHD (1440p) games, not 4K games, but it doesn’t hurt, this card is still a beast that is priced. In last year’s announcement, NVIDIA said it was performing slightly better than the GTX 1080 Ti. Once the benchmarks were set, people realized that all the statements were actually true, as the card was able to pull out the  1080 Ti in most tests. This graphics card is a nice bargain as it contains a decent 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, 16,2 TFlops computing  performance and almost 449GB / s of memory bandwidth.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

Our rating

Well, if you were waiting for another Ampere in this place, I’m sorry to let you know that Turing has not been completely replaced yet. Nor would it make sense at all. So, here’s best of Turing architecture lineup – 2080 ti. It got a price drop after the RTX 3080 Ti was officially launched. The RTX 2080 Ti is still quite capable of 4K gaming, as it can maintain decent frame rates in all games. It includes 11 GB of GDDR6 memory, 616 GB / s of memory bandwidth and 13,4 TFlops rating.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 3070

Our rating

This graphics card is very similiar to 3060 Ti when it comes to overall performance. However it`s a bit overpriced, hence it`gets lower place. Nevertheless, RTX 3070 had done the same for 4K gaming,  what the GTX 1070 did for 1080p , since it was released earlier then 3060 Ti.

AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT

Our rating

Finally, we have an AMD graphics card. While we’re still waiting for the announcement of RDNA3 architecture, which are expected to be available in the second half  of 2022, the RX 6800 is not underestimated. With 16GB memory the card is  capable for 4K games and it`s a good competitor for RTX 3070, maybe even for 3060 Ti. If only the price was lower.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super

Our rating

This mid-range NVIDIA graphics card is aimed at budget-conscious consumers who want to play constellations in 1080p Full HD resolution. It manages to maintain a stable 60 fps frame rate in almost all 1080p games and compete against the AMD RX 580 in the budget market. As a result, it manages to edge the RX 580 in most games. The GTX 1660 Super features 6 GB of GDDR5 memory.

AMD Radeon RX 580 playing card

Our rating

Although the GTX 1660S can target the RX 580 directly to DirectX 11 performance tests, it is the exact opposite of the DirectX 12 performance tests, as the RX 580 offers slightly better frame rate in most games thanks to better DirectX 12 driver support from AMD. Unlike the GTX 1660S, the RX 580 is available in two versions – 4 GB and 8 GB. It’s also a little cheaper than the GTX 1660S.

In addition to being considered the cheapest VR-Ready GPU, this card should be able to handle all the latest games at the highest 1080p resolution.

AMD Radeon RX 570 video card

Our rating

If you’re looking for a sub-£200 graphics card, that’s pretty much it. It is between the RX 580 and the GTX 1050 Ti. It performs significantly better than the lower-priced GTX 1050, but is below the RX 580. However, this card should be able to run all games in high-definition Full HD resolution while maintaining a stable 50 fps frame rate in most of them.
