When buying a new model, everyone tries to choose the most interesting and best for themselves within a given budget. It is not always an easy task, because manufacturers systematically convince themselves that they introduce extremely important novelties. It is worth reaching for their suggestions. Are you planning to change your phone this year? This may be of interest to you in the following list.

Which smartphones should attract the most attention this year? Some of the following are unlikely to surprise anyone, but on the other hand, there are also some designs that don’t necessarily come to mind first. However, they did not come here by accident. iPhone 13, finally a 120Hz screen and even 1TB for data

Not everyone has to like it, but in fact similar statements every year can be started with smartphones prepared by Apple. You don’t have to be a big fan of iPhones, but it should not be denied that they are very popular and in the end they are really good devices. In 2020, the manufacturer was exceptionally kind when it comes to new proposals, as he released five of them. In 2021, the number may turn out to be a little more modest, but there should be more changes in terms of specifications. And good, because recently Apple has not been Pro.

The little surprising names of the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are being bolder and bolder. The emerging suggestions for their capabilities suggest that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be noticeably more advanced, mainly due to the displays and space for data. It is in them that Apple will finally use LTPO panels and a higher refresh rate (120 Hz), and in the most expensive variants as much as 1TB of internal memory.

The first leaks also mention that the entire series will be able to boast a smaller note (there is no indication that it will be possible to give it up this year) and a built-in LIDAR scanner. As every year, we are also waiting for corrections in terms of photographic possibilities. It is possible that this time they will focus primarily on ultra-wide-angle lenses. Complete abandonment of physical connectors? Apple will do it, but probably not this year.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro with up to 120W charging

Another anticipated smartphone is Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. In fact, you can also put here the Xiaomi Mi 11 shown a few days ago, because its Polish premiere is still ahead of us. And it has a lot to offer, because, among other things, the AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2K and refreshing 120Hz, it is also the first smartphone using a very efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, it also has a 108 Mpix camera + 13 Mpix + 5 Mpix and a battery that supports fast 55W charging.

It’s just that Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will have even more to offer. While the build quality and most of the specifications will remain the same, two or three adjustments may be decisive for some people. These are not official information, but Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro should bring even greater photographic opportunities (among others, but not only, due to the telephoto lens); perhaps also greater memory resources and a battery with impressive charging technologies; – wired 120W and wireless 80W that the producer boasted about some time ago.

The long-awaited Nokia 9.3 PureView

If a longer wait increases the appetite, the stomach slowly dries up to the spine of those who follow the reports on Nokia 9.3 PureView. We have not seen a top smartphone with the logo of a still well-associated brand for a very long time. The Nokia 9.3 PureView seemed to debut at the end of last year, but it didn’t come to pass in the end. According to the announcement, the works were not canceled, but only delayed.

Moto Nio, or Moto G on steroids

Speaking of pure Android, the new year will also bring new models from the Moto G series. It is associated with proposals landing on the lower shelf, but a change awaits us. The Moto G model will appear, which will have to be placed somewhere between the middle and the highest segment.

Another highlt anticipated smartphone is Moto Nio. The manufacturer has officially announced that it will use a processor from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8xx line. Most likely, it will fall on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, which is to work with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory. Few should therefore lack efficiency in their daily work. The smartphone in question is also to offer a Full HD + 90Hz display and a capacious 5000 mAh battery. Rather, it will not impress with its design, it can have relatively wide frames; and additionally two indents in the screen for a double selfie camera. An interesting fact may be the DisplayPort Alternate Mode mentioned in the leaks; which allows you to connect your smartphone to external monitors.

LG Rollable, innovation, but expensive

Recently, we introduced you to the possibilities of LG Wing. This design is very original and really successful, but less technologically advanced than folded smartphones, such as Samsung or Huawei. It’s just that these producers will follow the already chosen path and develop the ideas they put on (which does not mean that it is bad), and LG is to surprise us with something else.

Everything indicates that, as the name suggests, LG Rollable will be equipped with a roll / roll screen, which will measure 7.4 inches when fully extended. At the same time, it is supposed to be a top design also in terms of performance, most likely a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and maybe even 16 GB RAM will be used here.

It is worth adding that LG Rollable is not a pipe dream. Work on than was confirmed by LG during one of the presentations, and the official premiere should take place in the first quarter of this year. Price? It is speculated to be around 1500 pounds. It’s hard to be surprised, that’s exactly how much it cost to start, for example, Samsung Galaxy Fold. It is definitely one of the most anticipated smartphones!

The best new ASUS ROG Phone for gamers

This smartphone is highly anticipated. All top smartphones allow you to play games comfortably, especially when, in addition to high performance, they also have displays with a higher refresh rate. But that doesn’t mean you can’t stand out, which is what ASUS has most recently proved. At the moment, the best offer for mobile players is ASUS ROG Phone 3, and this name will probably be taken over by its direct successor.

There is no doubt that work on it is already underway. It is also uncertain under what name it will debut. The numbering would suggest ASUS ROG Phone 4, but due to tetraphobia, we can also expect a jump and the launch of ASUS ROG Phone 5 among a large part of Asians.

The already appearing records from testing programs indicate that the manufacturer will bet on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and 8 GB RAM LPDDR5, although this is probably the most modest variant; because the maximum can be up to 16 GB. However, the predecessors were characterized not only by the most efficient components at the moment, but also by elements prepared especially for players that cannot be found in standard designs. These include configurable ultrasonic sensors / AirTrigger 3 buttons; extensive cooling, support for a number of gaming gadgets or an extremely aggressive design with an illuminated logo.

Sony Xperia 1 III Compact. Most anticipated smartphones

There were times when people looking for an efficient, but small smartphone focused their eyes primarily on the Sony offer. There you could find models from the Xperia Compact series, but in 2018 it was said goodbye. After Apple became interested in similar designs, there was some suggestion that some manufacturers of Android smartphones, including Sony, may follow a similar path.

Unfortunately, this is nothing certain. While the Xperia 1 III with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor will undoubtedly appear as planned, the fate of the Xperia 1 III Compact remains a mystery. May they not only end with a few leaks, because these spoke about a 5.5-inch screen and performance characteristic of a mid-to-high-end proposal.

Realme 8 Pro, low-end perfection

Not everyone is targeting the most advanced, but also the most expensive smartphones. If the manufacturer tries his best, a proposition from this price range is sufficient for many users. Will it be realme 8 Pro? I don’t know, but it was no accident that it ended up here.

The realme 7 Pro made a very good impression on me, it was one of the most interesting smartphones I tested last year. It still remains one of the best proposals in the mentioned budget. Super AMOLED Full HD + screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, 8 GB RAM, 4500 mAh battery with SuperDart 65W fast charging, as well as NFC and stereo speakers. A very good combination.

In fact, the manufacturer has a base here to prepare the perfect semicolon. What to improve? Use a slightly better camera, some would also like to see a higher refresh rate (than 60 Hz), and I have a selfie camera hidden in a retractable module, although we probably won’t see it.
